This is going to sound weird...but place no judgment for the situation, merely listen to the results.
So, on our hike Saturday, we took "the other chick's" dog with us. (that's the no judgment part) As a result...I kinda really want a dog now! It was so great to have a companion driving around with us, and catching sticks, and protecting us on the trail. I know its horrible, I have no room, and I know once winter comes, I would hate to have to walk something three to five times a day...but oh my...for that one day, I began daydreaming of a little lab puppy all over again. Blah!
